The ginger factory is great for a day trip with the kids. The boat ride around the world finding ginger bread men was amazing. My son loved it and I must say I think I enjoyed it as much as him. Food, ambience, setting, train ride also great...will be bringing the kids here again when heading north on a road trip...

Thought a visit to The Ginger Factory would be a pleasant day out. The train ride on Moreton was fun and the commentary broadcast on the train about the history of ginger, I found particularly interesting. Our 10 yo was completely enchanted by the boat ride around the world and I will admit to feeling a bit thrilled myself. I'm only allocating 3 stars due to the food court area. One cashier and a really long line of people. Come on, could you at least have 2 cashiers for peak times? I ordered minestrone soup in the mistaken belief that I would get a clear soup with meat, veges and a bit of pasta. Something hot and warm with a slice of toast. Sorry to say the best thing about that meal was the toast! The "minestrone" was tomato sauce with orzo (small rice shaped pasta) mixed through it. Not one piece of meat not one vegetable. I ate it, as I was hungry, however, it was very disappointing.

Great to see the Ginger Factory thriving. Lots of entrainment for all ages. The train is fun for all ages, the play structure is a lovely spot for the kids to blow off some steam & there's a few tours & gift shops to check out. The gardens are nice to walk around too. A really nice half to full day out, depending on what you like to do. Look forward to bringing the family back again.

What a great place! The factory tour was engaging and informative in a fun way. Kelly our tour guide was awesome. The bee tour was just as informative and interesting. The boat tour was fun as was the train ride. The different shops all had something different to make everyone happy. All staff were friendly and inviting. We even got the nice surprise of seeing some of the food and flower festival. Thanks for a wonderful day.

The factory tour was not worth it. Guide was not at all engaging and was over priced. The bee show was good though. Blake was entertaining and is passionate about the bees. After an hour of waiting for our food at the cafe, the staff had lost our order and turns out it was never actually coming out, but we got it in the end.The ginger factory products themselves are versatile and of good quality
